Self-aligning ball bearings are a type of rolling bearing with an automatic alignment function. Their outer raceway is designed as a spherical shape, which can compensate for the deflection of the shaft or housing and installation errors, allowing the inner and outer races to be tilted by 1°-3°while still functioning normally. It is composed of double-row steel balls, inner ring (with two raceways) and outer ring (with spherical raceways). The core design feature is that the curvature center of the outer ring raceway coincides with the center of the bearing. When the shaft or the bearing housing bends, the balls can freely adjust their positions on the spherical raceways, achieving the automatic alignment function.
